Welcome to Bert the Bard Publishing.

There is something remarkable about opening a book. A few words on a page, and suddenly we are somewhere else. Perhaps in a familiar town where something extraordinary has happened. Perhaps in a distant century, walking beside someone whose name history has forgotten.

Or perhaps we discover that a character we met in one story has been quietly living in another.

At Bert the Bard Publishing, we believe stories need not remain confined between the covers of a book.

They can grow, wander, intersect, and occasionally surprise even the people writing them.

A Gathering of Worlds

Within these pages, you will encounter stories of mystery, imagination, wonder, and the occasional absurdity.

Some will unfold in episodes. Others will arrive complete. You may encounter poetry, reflections, unusual discoveries, and characters who insist their stories have not yet been properly told.

You will also find worlds that overlap.

A passing acquaintance in one tale may become the central figure in another. An apparently insignificant event may echo through several stories. A mystery left unanswered today may find its explanation somewhere unexpected.

And sometimes, a story will simply be a story, asking nothing more than a little of your time.

The Reader’s Place

Stories belong to their readers as surely as they belong to their authors, though perhaps in different ways.

A reader brings memories, questions, imagination, and experiences that no writer can entirely anticipate.

We hope you will tell us what you discover here, which characters intrigue you, and which doors you would like to see opened.
